[Inventory](https://hub.acctivate.com/articles/troubleshoot?hsLang=en#inventory) April 10, 2025 # Find products with zero quantity on hand but having a remaining value ## In some unique cases, products may have a zero quantity on hand, but a remaining value, which needs to adjusted to zero.  Here's a way in which you can find these products and review the best way to resolve them The Inventory Manager in Acctivate is a very powerful tool, which can be customized to display a lot of product related information.  You can use this Manager to find product that may have a zero quantity on hand in a warehouse, but some remainder value.   This [kb article regarding creating custom bars](https://hub.acctivate.com/articles/learn/ordermanager/how-do-i-create-a-custom-view-of-orders?hsLang=en) is a useful tool for your review. 1. Create a custom bar in the Inventory Manager by copying the Warehouse bar.   2. Select one of the warehouses you'd like to filter on. 3. In the Button Properties window, change the Description of the Bar Button so it's more recognizable. 4. Add the following two conditions: 1. On Hand = 0 2. Click \[OK\] to close  7. Now, in the Inventory Manager, click on \[View\] on the toolbar, and select the copied Bar you just created.   8. Select the button you modified earlier to view any products that now meet your criteria. Typically, we'd recommend posting a balance adjustment to clear any remaining value for these products so there's no value.  If you'd like to review transactions for these products, use the Transactions tab on the Product List window. -
