It is suggested that this option is turned off. Smart App Control is typically disabled by default, but may be enabled automatically in certain scenarios. If you experience issues such as crashing, try disabling **Smart App Control.** 1. In the Windows search bar, type **Windows Security** 2. In the left menu, click **App & browser control** 3. Under the **Smart App Control** heading, click **Smart App Control settings** 4.
