In this case, the IIS\_IUSRS account needs to be added in order for the webpage to appear. 1. Go to the Acctivate directory on the server where Acctivate is installed. By Default the directory is C:\\Program Files (x86)\\ 2. Right click the Acctivate Directory 3. Properties 4. Click on the Security \> EDIT 5. click ADD 6. In the "Enter the object names to select..." type in IIS\_IUSRS then click on CHECK NAMES to confirm. If the user account cannot be found, you may need to define a server name or domain of where the account might be. 7. Click OK 8. Click Apply on the folder. 9. If you're still experiencing permission issues, please repeat steps 1-8 for the NETWORK SERVICE account.   ![](https://help.acctivate.com/wp-content/uploads/5-2-2017-4-22-59-PM.png)     You will also have to add this account under the SHARE permissions. Very similar steps from above 1. Go to the Acctivate directory on the server where Acctivate is installed. By Default the directory is C:\\Program Files (x86)\\ 2. Right click the Acctivate Directory 3. Click Properties 4. Click on Sharing Tab 5. Click on Advanced Sharing. then PERMISSIONS 6. In the "Enter the object names to select..." type in IIS\_IUSRS then click on CHECK NAMES to confirm. If the user account cannot be found, you may need to define a server name or domain of where the account might be. 7.
