Assigning System Administration permission to additional Acctivate users

A guide on assigning System Administration to additional Acctivate users, allowing them access to Configuration Manager.

In order to add another user as a System Administrator, follow these steps:

  1. Using Acctivate as a user who already has System Administrator permission, go to File > Configuration Management.
  2. Select User > User Information, and click the + on the user you want to give permission to.
  3. Click the + on System Administration, select System Administration = No.
  4. Click the Edit button at the top of the window.
  5. Click the dropdown on the right and select Yes.
  6. Click the Save button at the top of the window.


    The selected user now has System Administration permission, and after that user restarts their Acctivate instance, they will be able to access Configuration Manager.
