Change the Address on Forms in Acctivate
Most standard forms in Acctivate — such as invoices, sales orders, and purchase orders — typically display your business address at the top. By default, this address is pulled dynamically from the Company Information section in Configuration Manager.
If your business address has changed, or if the wrong address is displaying, follow the instructions below to ensure it's updated correctly.
Updating the Company Address
To update the standard company address:

Open Configuration Manager.

Navigate to:
System > Company Information -
Update any of the following fields:

Company Name
-
Address Line 1 & 2
-
City, State, Zip
-
Phone
-
Fax
-
-
Click Save.
This change will apply to forms that use the standard dynamic address setup. Be sure to test your form after making the change by printing or previewing it from a sample transaction.
Why the Address Might Still Appear Incorrect
If after updating the Company Information, the form still shows an outdated or unexpected address usually this indicates that the form has been customized. Common reasons include:
🔹 Hardcoded Address
Some forms have the address manually typed into the report header rather than using a dynamic field. In this case, the Company Info update will have no effect.
🔹 Custom Layout Pulls Address from a Different Source
The report may have been modified to use a warehouse address, branch address, or another data source. These versions are often used by companies with multiple locations.
Fixing Custom or Hardcoded Address Issues
If the form layout has been customized, it can only be changed if you or someone on your team has access to Crystal Reports. If not, you can request help from Acctivate Support for standard header changes.
To fix it yourself:
- Check out the report that needs changes and save it to your desktop.

Open the
.rpt
file in Crystal Reports. -
Check the header section of the form. If the address is hardcoded, you can either update the text manually or replace it with the correct parameter field that pulls from the Company Info table.

Save the report and check it in via File > Manage Report Forms in Acctivate.
