Creating an Inventory Issue.
Inventory issues allow you to issue out inventory against an account of your choosing. Check out this article for a link to our training guide about Inventory Issues.
Many customers have a need to issue stock (remove from inventory) for non-sales uses. This might include samples, trade show demonstration pieces, removing expired or damaged product or handling donations where you don't need to track customer or pick and ship. (If you would like to perform donation of product that you can pick, ship and assign customers to, check out this article instead.)
You can assign a default GL Account to each Warehouse in Configuration Management. There are also User Permissions to allow/disallow users to change the GL Account listed on the Inventory Issue.
For an up to date guide on creating inventory issues, check out our training guide.
