Changing Customer Credit Limits in QuickBooks Online companies
The QuickBooks Online API does not support syncing the customer credit limit field, therefore updates to a customer's credit limit should be made in each program.
In QuickBooks Desktop companies, the customer credit field syncs bidirectionally, meaning the credit limit only needs to be updated in either QuickBooks Desktop or Acctivate and the change will be pushed to the other program.
QuickBooks Online also has a customer credit limit field, however the QuickBooks Online API does not support reading the credit limit or updating it.
This means that changes to a customer's credit limit will need to be made in both Acctivate and QuickBooks Online if you intend to track it in both programs.
