In QuickBooks Desktop companies, the customer credit field syncs bidirectionally, meaning the credit limit only needs to be updated in either QuickBooks Desktop or Acctivate and the change will be pushed to the other program. QuickBooks Online also has a customer credit limit field, however the QuickBooks Online API does not support reading the credit limit or updating it.
