Enable Acctivate Mobile printing locally when connected to a hosted database service configuration

For customers that are connecting Acctivate to the Hosted Database Service and using Acctivate Mobile Warehousing, a hosted mobile webservice is provided to the organization.  Most users will connect their mobile devices to this hosted webservice in order to pick, transfer, receive, etc.  For mobile users that prefer to print product labels, put away lists, and pack lists from Acctivate Mobile, you will need to complete the following steps.

Install an Acctivate mobile webservice locally

Once you have installed Acctivate on workstations, pointed to the hosted database service, one machine should be designated and used as an additional webservice machine.  Complete the following Mobile Installation on one of these machines.  A desktop PC that has a wired connection would be best.

Connect mobile devices to the local mobile webservice

Once the local mobile webservice is up and running, you'll configure Acctivate mobile to connect to the local mobile webservice by continuing to follow the mobile installation guide.

Configure mobile printers for each report

Finally, you'll need to configure Acctivate printer assignments by selecting a local printer for each report.
