How do I open the EDI file directory from the Acctivate menu?
Steps to locate and retrieve files exported from your EDI provider, and Acctivate generated files prepared to send back in your shared EDI folder
To access the EDI file directory where your EDI provider places export files or where Acctivate places import files, follow these steps directly from the Acctivate menu:

Open Acctivate.

In the top menu, click EDI → Open EDI File Directory.

A Windows File Explorer window will open showing the folders that have been configured in your system for EDI file import/export.

Files that have not been processed will show in the main export or import folder. Files that have already been processed will show in the History folder contained within the import/export folder.

Generally, the folders are set up so that files exported from your EDI Provider appear in the Export folder, like the 850, while files generated by Acctivate for import are located in the Import folder, like the 810.

From here, you can view or copy files as needed. Files are typically in
.txt
format.
🔍 Note: The folder path is configured in Configuration Manager → EDI → Trading Partner → Mailbox Path. If the window does not open, confirm that your EDI paths are set correctly.
