Tracking a Shipment that is En Route.

From the Sales Order, you can track a shipment using the Packages tab or through the Invoice.

Acctivate's sales order management capabilities allows you to automatically track packages that are being shipped on a common carrier that gives typical web access for package tracking. This is done by adding the tracking number and shipper information into the order.

Within Acctivate there are two ways to access tracking information from the Sales Order window.

Moreover, if you are using the Shipping Workstation Interface add-on module, Acctivate will even pull this information into the system for you. Either way, once an order is invoiced, that invoice is used at the central location to track the shipment.
