When installing Acctivate, some Acctivate versions may try to also update Microsoft SQL Server. Error code 84BC06AA is a SQL Server install error that could occur during this step.
The cause may be due to Microsoft SQL Server component failing to install. While the error is vague, the steps below may resolve the error:- Add or Remove Programs
- Search for and uninstall Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server
- Re-run the Acctivate installer
