Within the Manager windows, users have the option to filter the views by additional conditions. These filters don’t last beyond the time that the Manager window is open, but they can be useful to narrow down the data returned by the standard views.
Filter Scheduled Orders by a given date:
- Open a Manager window.
- Click the “Filter” icon.
- You’ll now be in the filter set up window. Here, we can add conditions to filter the data in our views. The bottom of this window shows what the selected manager button is already filtering.
- Scroll over Matches all and a + sign will appear. Click the + then Add Condition.
- Click the orange box to choose the field you need to filter. Use the search at the top or scroll through the list then click on your criteria to select it.
- The default operator is the equal sign (=). Click the equal sign to see the full list of options. The operator tells Acctivate how to filter the data.
- = means is (ex: Order Number is 12345)
- ≠ means is not (ex: Product Class is not MISC)
- > means is more than OR after (ex: Order Date is after 01/15/2025)
- ≥ means is more than or equal to OR on or after (ex: Percent Received is equal to or more than 50)
- < means is less than OR before (ex: Available is less than 5)
- ≤ means is less than or equal to OR on or before (ex: Requested Ship Date is on or before 01/02/2025)
- is between means all records within an alphabetical or numerical sequence (ex: Customer is between ABC Industries and Martin Office)

- is not blank / not null means exclude records with no data (ex: Color is not blank/not null)
- After choosing the operator, click the green Enter a value... box. Type in the field data you're filtering or choose from a list by clicking the dropdown arrow.
- After entering your values, click Apply to preview your filter then click OK. The filter will now be applied.
There are many ways to use quick filters. This article covered some of the basics, but feel free to experiment and develop your own sets. When you’re done using the filter, simply click the X next to the Filter icon to revert back to the default view or close the manager window to reset.
