Resolving 'Missing VIEW.DDF file' Message After Acctivate/ CYMA Migration
Navigate to the location that CYMA was previously on, move the VIEW.DDF file to the new CYMA4 location.
If you perform a migration for a CYMA instance of Acctivate, you may encounter a similar message when trying to log into Acctivate:
The CYMA VIEW.DDF file could not be found in either X: or X:\ACCTivate. Certain Acctivate operations may perform slowly.
To resolve this issue, you can follow the steps below:
1. Go to the previous location or computer where CYMA was installed.
2. Open File Explorer and navigate to 'C:\CYMA\CYMA4'. Look for the VIEW.DDF file in this location.
3. Save the VIEW.DDF file to the new location. Then, go to \CYMA\CYMA4 on the current drive and insert the VIEW.DDF file.
