In some QuickBooks Online companies, changing the income account in Acctivate may result in the a sync error with the message "Do you also want to update existing sales transactions to use the new sales account?"

To address this issue, please access the Products & Services list in QuickBooks Online and identify the "Product" that corresponds to the Acctivate list item utilized for linking Sales and COGS.
For instance, if your Sales and COGS are connected to Acctivate Product Classes and you have recently changed the income account for a specific Product Class, such as "Accessories," open the Accessories product in QuickBooks Online.
Adjust the income account to align with your selection in Acctivate and then save the Product.
Once completed, return to Acctivate and initiate a sync.
This should resolve the sync error.
