"This message cannot be sent because Acctivate's email settings have not been configured."

Support for MAPI has been dropped in Acctivate version 12.0. If you were previously using MAPI you will now need to update to use our Microsoft 365, Gmail, or SMTP email options.

MAPI (Messaging Application Programming Interface) has been dropped and the MAPI configuration option in Acctivate has been replaced with "None".

When updating to version 12.0, users who previously sent emails from Acctivate using MAPI will receive the following message if they try and email without first updating to a supported email protocol:

This message cannot be sent because Acctivate's email settings have not been configured. Please configure email in Configuration Management.
