Resolving "You must log in as an active user with SysAdmin permissions to upgrade the database."
When installing a new update for Acctivate, the database must also be updated. A normal, non-admin user will not be able to perform the update, and a system admin must login to perform the update.
With each new Acctivate update comes an update to the database. If you attempt to login and receive the following message:
A new version of Acctivate has been installed and the database must be updated.
You must log in as an active user with SysAdmin permission to upgrade the database.
In order to resolve this, you must have a user with administrator permissions within Acctivate log in. Any user with access to Configuration Manager is a system admin and can run the database update.
