# Setting up UPS for EDI/Package Manager

## Acctivate can integrate with UPS for easily sending package and shipment information to UPS for processing, and sending tracking and shipping cost back to Acctivate for ASN. Check out this article for a link to our docs page about setting this up.

Acctivate offers an integration via ODBC to UPS World Ship so that you can easily send Shipment and package information to UPS and send tracking and shipping cost back to Acctivate for ASN generation.

Before you can setup the integration, you must first create an ODBC connection so that programs such as UPS can access your database. You can find instructions on doing so [here](https://docs.acctivate.com/docs/ConfigurationDatabaseConnection.html#odbc-connection-to-sql-server).

Once you have an ODBC connection created then you're ready to complete the integration for UPS. You can find those instructions [here](https://docs.acctivate.com/docs/IntegrationUPS.html#ups-packaging-manager-integration).
