USB Scanner Settings

A simple USB scanner can be used to scan document ID's on Acctivate's default forms for enhanced productivity

A USB scanner that connects to your desktop computer can be used to perform quick entry of Acctivate Order Numbers, Purchase Order Number, Inventory Session numbers, and Products.

Many of Acctivate's default forms include a barcode in the Code-128 format, therefore ensure  your scanner supports Code-128.

Typically, these devices can be configured to send a character or combination of characters after it sends the text, sometimes known as a Data Terminator. It is recommended that your device be configured to send a CRLF character (Carriage Return, Line Feed) after each scan. If only one is supported, a LF (Line Feed) is suggested.

Note: Acctivate Desktop does not parse GS1-128 barcodes, however they can be used with Acctivate Mobile.
