Using Order Manager to delete Orders whose Order Number contains a certain keyword
Use Order Manager to see Orders based on certain criteria and batch delete
It is simple to delete all Orders whose Order Numbers contain a certain keyword. For example, deleting all Orders with Order Numbers that contain "CAT", end with "Z" or that start with "5".
- Select the Order Manager button at the top of the screen.
- Select the Filter button at the top of the window.
- Select the + next to Matches All and select Add Condition from the dropdown.
- Select the orange box on the left and select Order Number from the dropdown.
- Click the = to the right of the orange box and select how you want to search. For example, Is for an exact keyword match, Contains to show Order Numbers that contain a keyword, or Begins with for Order Numbers that start with a keyword.
- Click the green box on the right and enter the keyword/value you would like to search on.
- Click Apply and the Order Numbers matching your search query will be returned.
- If you wish to cancel all the Orders matching your criteria, you can select the checkbox at the top of the list of results to select all results. Then click the Action... button at the top of the window, and select Cancel, or simply press Ctrl + D.
- In the Cancel Order window, simply select a reason for lost business in the dropdown, enter a comment if desired, and select Yes to batch cancel Orders.
