Create Reorders from Inventory Manager
Acctivate version 12.3 introduces an improved and transparent process for reordering inventory based on stock levels.
The Reorders tab of the Business Alerts has been replaced by the Create Reorders window which offers many advantages over its predecessor.
The reorder process now starts with the new Inventory Manager, allowing you to select products that are suggested for reordered based on Acctivate’s Suggested Restock formula.
You can also choose to reorder any inventoried and non-inventoried products, even if they aren’t suggested for reorder yet. This allows you to be more efficient when ordering from your vendor.
To start, open Inventory Manager by clicking the Inventory Manager button on your tool bar or by going to Inventory > Inventory Manager. In Inventory Manager, ensure you're looking at the Restocking bar. You can verify by clicking View... > Restocking.
- Restock will show all products that suggest reordering as well as the suggested restock quantities.
- Reorder uses the same criteria as the Restock button, but excludes Assemblies as they may need to be assembled, rather than reordered.
- Build will only include Assembly Products.
- Discontinued will only include Active Products that are marked as Discontinued.
Before reordering it's recommended that Products have a Preferred Vendor and Price assigned. To Reorder:
- Check off the products that need to be reordered.
- Select Action > Create Reorders.
- This will load the products into the Create Reorders window.
