Voided shipments in FedEx Ship Manager

Voiding a shipment in FedEx Ship Manager may not remove the shipment in Acctivate.  This is due to the way in which FedEx Ship Manager tries to handle the previously written shipment via the integration with Acctivate.

Unlike UPS Worldship, which writes back a "voided" shipment record to Acctivate, FedEx Ship Manager will try to simply remove the shipment record from Acctivate.  The problem with this is shipment records are imported into tbOrderPackagesText.  Acctivate will then move this data to other tables within our Database.  So, voiding the shipment in FedEx Ship Manager will not be able to delete the record from tbOrderPackagesText since the record no longer exists here.


To void FedEx shipments, FedEx will need to make a change to Visual Basics. This is not something Acctivate Support can do. Please contact the FedEx CTC  Customer Technologies Consultant engineer or let us know and we can provide you with a suggested contact.
