Why are products ineligible for reordering or assembly?

When using the Create Reorders or Create Assemblies Action in the Inventory Manager, you may receive a message stating that some products are ineligible for the selected Action.

When using the Create Reorders or Create Assemblies Action in the Inventory Manager window, you may receive a message similar to this:

Add 3 selected product warehouses to the Create Reorders window?

1 selected product warehouse cannot be loaded because it is ineligible for reordering or already within the Create Reorders window.

A product may be ineligible for reorder or assembly due to one or more of the following reasons:

  • The product is inactive
  • The warehouse is inactive
  • The product is no longer stocked in the selected warehouse.
  • The product has already been added to the Create Reorders or Create Assemblies window (indicated by the Pending Reorder and Pending Build columns of the Inventory Manager).
  • Is not an Assembly (when adding to Create Assemblies) or is not Inventoried or non-inventoried (when adding to Create Reorders).
