What is the Crystal Report Run-time Engine?

Acctivate uses the Crystal Reports runtime engine to generate all reports in the software.

Acctivate uses the Crystal Reports runtime engine to generate all reports in the software.  The Crystal Reports runtime is delivered with the Acctivate software on both the server and the workstations under a royalty-free distribution license.  Therefore, there is no additional cost to Acctivate users to generate reports.

In some cases, the Crystal Reports runtime may be removed from a PC or the installation corrupted.  You can reinstall the runtime if you receive an error running reports.

If you'd like to build reports or customize reports for Acctivate, you'll need to acquire a license for Crystal Reports from SAP. You can find out more about that from their website, as Alterity does not sell licenses for Crystal Reports.
